When working in the HTML / Text module it's best to type your information directly into the module. We recommend that you DO NOT paste from Word or Outlook directly into the text editor because those programs do not create proper HTML and can cause your text not to look the way you desire it to look. It would be best to type the content directly into the text editor OR first paste it into a program such as Notepad and then copying and pasting it into the text editor. This extra step removes all poorly formatted code that Microsoft products generate. Unfortunately there is no way around this as Microsoft products are not meant for web formatting and thus do not adhere to web standards.
This lesson will walk you through converting Word documents to Notepad.
Open your Word Document and select all the text that you want to put into the module.

Right click on the selected text and select copy.

Open Notepad by Seleting your Start Button, then "All Programs", Find "Accessories", then Click on "Notepad".

When Notepad opens, highlight "Format" and select "Word Wrap" in the pull down menu. This will let you see the entire document without having to scroll across the window.

Make sure your cursor is within the Notepad document and right click your mouse button and select "Paste".

Your text can now be copied over to the HTML / Text module.
You can also save Notepad documents just like you would a Word document.

Notepad is like Word except it doesn't have all the fonts and colors.
To copy your text from Notepad to the HTML Module, Click "Edit" and then select "Select All" in the pull down menu.

This will highlight all your text within Notepad.

Open the HTML Module that you want to copy the text to, right click and select "paste". Your text will populate the box. Click "Save" to save your changes.
